Spevco builds Mobile Health Clinic for Moore County NC
“Together We Can Do MOORE” is a fundraising event to celebrate the completion of building a 53 foot, 18-wheeler semi that has been outfitted with two clinical exam rooms, a private office for screening, a stage for wellness education classes and cultural enrichment and a storage area for non-perishable food, clothing and hygiene items to be distributed to residents of rural Moore County. The semi will travel the rural parts of the county bringing health services, wellness education and cultural enrichment to people with no access to healthcare services. The semi was built by Spevco, a special vehicles company based in Winston-Salem, NC.
